Studio Flash Jinbei Pilot III 800 Pro with focus knob

Jinbei Pilot III 800 Pro is a flagship lamp aimed at demanding photographers. It offers high quality workmanship, a large power reserve (800Ws) and above-average native flash duration (1/4700-1/20000s). Its distinguishing feature is the adjustable position of the burner - allowing you to change the angle of light scattering. The characteristics of the Jinbei Pilot III 800 Pro allow you to use the lamp in sessions with large products or rooms, as well as wherever strong lighting is required.

The Pilot III 800 Pro lamp resembles the older models from the Pilot series - all housing elements are made of high-quality materials. The handle with a tripod mount can be moved relative to the axis of the lamp, which allows you to safely change the center of gravity when using large or heavier light modifiers.

The front of the unit is traditionally finished with a Bowens S bayonet mount. In the upper part of the housing there is a knob used to change the position of the burner - it allows you to set three different flash light beam angles from narrow, through standard, to wide.

The screen with the control panel is located at the back of the lamp. The displayed menu is well known from the HD and MSN series lamps. On the sides, in the back of the lamp, there are colored LEDs that visualize the color of the group to which the lamp is subordinated.

Pilot III 800 Pro has been equipped with two functions known from other Jinbei lamps:

• Easy Cap that facilitates cutting out the photographed object from the background using a mask when processing in a graphics program (for the proper implementation of the function, you need at least two lamps with the Easy Cap function.)
• Delay that allows you to delay the flash up to 30s from the moment of triggering.

The flagship of the Jinbei brand offers high flash power of 800Ws with smooth adjustment in the range of 6 apertures (1/1 - 1/32) in steps of 1/10 or 1/1. These parameters, combined with efficient charging time (0.4 - 1.3s) and extreme flash duration (1/3500 - 1/20000s) allow the lamp to be used in various fields of studio photography. In addition, the maximum deviation of the color temperature of the flash is only 100K, which will certainly satisfy all people working in post-production. The lamp modeling lighting is provided by a 30W LED, operating in three modes (proportional, independent and deactivation). The safety of the lamp operation is ensured by an efficient fan and an electronic protection system against overheating.

The lamp offers the possibility of remote triggering using the built-in trigger receiver Jinbei TRS-V, TR-A9, TR-V6II, TR-Q6, TR-Q7II. 32 channels and 16 flash groups offer a wide range of studio flash integration options. A 3.5 mm synchro socket is dedicated to third-party flash triggering systems.

Together with the lamp, the set includes a power cord and two burner covers: glass (factory mounted) and plastic.
